According to details, the senior member of Board of Revenue (SMBR) had initiated several projects to bring reforms in the revenue sector across the province so as to alleviate the problems related to the property of the people, bring facilities to the people and innovate the system.

These projects included Digitized Girdawari of lands across the province, establishment of DMM, restoration of Nambardar and Chowkidar system in its original form in the province. In this regard, the SMBR Babar Hayat Tarar visited the districts of Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib and inaugurated a Land Record Center in Nankana Sahib district.

The SMBR listened to the problems of the people in an open forum at Nankana Sahib and instructed officers to resolve complaints on the spot.

Meanwhile, Tarar informed reporters that a mission was being worked out to provide a comprehensive system of revenue across Punjab.

“The system will provide revenue-related services to the public at home.
