Crackdown against Covid SOPs violators, unvaccinated people in full swing

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has initiated a crackdown against the violators of coronavirus guidelines and unvaccinated people.

Peshawar district administration said teams consisting of assistant commissioners were inspecting various parts of the provincial capital including Lahore Adda, General Bus Stand, Kohat Adda, Charsadda Adda and other bus terminals.

They also checked vaccination certificates and vaccinated the people on the spot.

In the Charsadda district, 11 traders were arrested for refusing vaccination and eight shops were sealed on the occasion for flouting guidelines. In Nowshera and Abbottabad districts, seven shops were sealed for doing the same.

The provincial government has also advised the people to vaccinate them to control the spread of Covid-19.
