Policeman injured in Karachi factory fire

ISLAMABAD: A policeman was injured after a fire erupted in a firecrackers factory in Karachi Sunday afternoon, media reported.

The cop, along with his team, arrived at the site after the fire was reported to the police station, and was helping firefighters to put out the big fire when he got injured, the reports said.

Several cars parked outside the factory were burnt in the fire, which was feared to spread to other factories in the neighbourhood if the blaze was not extinguished in time, according to the reports.
