LODHRAN: The Crime Control Department (CCD) in Lodhran has arrested a notorious criminal, Nizamuddin, alias “32-bore,” who was wanted in over 40 cases of robbery, burglary, and theft. The arrest occurred after a targeted operation by the CCD on Lal Kamal Shah Road, where the suspect and his accomplices opened fire on police to flee.
During the exchange, one suspect was injured by gunfire from his own accomplices and was apprehended. Nizamuddin, found with a 30-bore pistol, was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The criminal background check revealed that he had been involved in 41 criminal cases.
While Nizamuddin was arrested, two other suspects managed to escape. Authorities have launched a search operation to capture the remaining suspects. The CCD praised the operation as a significant breakthrough in dismantling criminal networks in the district.
