At global Palestine conference, Mushahid urges Erdogan to spearhead action on Palestine

ISLAMABAD: Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed has proposed a 3-point Action Plan on the Palestine issue and called upon Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to take the lead in global efforts for Palestinian rights.

Speaking at the ‘Global Palestine Conference’ in Turkey’s capital, which was hosted by Erdogan’s AK Party, Mushahid delivered a keynote address, urging the Muslim world to unite under Erdogan’s leadership on this critical issue.

President Erdogan was the chief guest at the conference, according to a news release. Senator Mushahid, who serves on the Executive Board of the Istanbul-based ‘Al Quds Parliament’ and as Co-Chairman of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), praised the resistance of groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran in opposing Israeli aggression and Zionist expansion.

He described their efforts as models of the principle that “Right is Might, not Might is Right.”

During his address, Mushahid lauded President Erdogan’s leadership, calling him the “Lion of the Muslim World” and congratulated him on his recent electoral victory.

He also condemned Israel for what he described as the first “televised genocide” in history, sharply criticizing Western double standards and complicity in Israeli actions. Mushahid further added that many Muslim regimes had failed to stand up to these injustices due to either fear or expediency.
