PML-N set to change party’s organizational structure in Punjab

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Wednesday has started working on a plan to change r the party’s organizational structure in Punjab.

Sources privy to the development informed that the PML-N has set the course to change the party’s organizational structure and has decided to replace Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah as PML-N president of Punjab.

It has also been decided to replace PML-N General Secretary Sardar Awais Leghari.

Sources revealed that Mian Javed Latif, Saud Majeed, and Haneef Abbasi are included in the race for Punjab presidency.

However, the notification will be issued after the final approval by PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif. According to sources, Mian Javed Latif is a strong candidate for the presidency of PML-N Punjab.

It has been decided to replace Sanaullah due to his ministerial engagements.

The nomination for the party presidency in Punjab, however, is subject to the consent of incumbent President Sanaullah.

Sources said Saud Majeed can be nominated for the post of general secretary in case he is out of the race for president Punjab.
