ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Wednesday confirmed 637 new Covid-19 cases and nine more deaths, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) said on Thursday.
The NCOC said the country has conducted 21,280,406 tests so far, confirming 1,278,751 cases in total, including 1,226,906 recoveries.
There are 23,270 active cases in the country, including 1,156 in critical condition.
The pandemic killed nine people on Wednesday, increasing the total death toll to 28,575.
Sindh is the most province region of the country in terms of the number of cases with 472,925 infections, followed by Punjab which has reported 441,493 infections.
