Fleeing robbers kill 12-year-old boy, injure aunt in Karachi’s Landhi area

Armed robbers fleeing a crime scene in Landhi 89 opened fire, killing 12-year-old Muhammad Amin, known as Shanu, and injuring his 35-year-old aunt Nasira. The victims were sitting outside their house during a power outage when the robbers fired to escape.

The deceased boy was the only brother of two sisters. This incident raises concerns over rising violence, with 43 citizens losing their lives due to robber firing this year.

Separately, police in Shahrah-e-Noorjahan killed a bandit and arrested another injured suspect after an encounter in Shadman Town, North Karachi. The suspects were involved in the killing of 24-year-old Anas Shakeel during a robbery attempt on May 11, along with other crimes.
