LAHORE: Pakistan will observe two official holidays in the final week of December 2025, recognizing both a national occasion and a religious festival, as per a notification issued by the Cabinet Division.
The holidays were previously set in the federal government’s official holiday schedule for the year.
As per the notification, December 25 will be a public holiday nationwide to mark Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas. On December 26, Christians across the country will have an additional holiday specifically designated for their community.
Both holidays are part of the Cabinet Division’s annual calendar for 2025, which outlines public and community-specific observances for the year.
