KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Governor Mohammed Kamran Khan Tessori paid tribute to parents on the Global Day of Parents, acknowledging their vital sacrifices and lasting influence in shaping their children’s futures.
Chief Minister Shah highlighted that the unconditional love and commitment of parents form the foundation for a child’s success and well-being. He noted that parents often set aside their own needs to secure a better future for their children.
Referring to this year’s United Nations theme, Shah emphasized the challenges parents face in today’s fast-changing world and stressed the need to provide them with adequate resources to raise the next generation. He reaffirmed the Sindh government’s dedication to supporting parents in their crucial societal role.
Governor Tessori expressed deep appreciation for parents’ efforts and sacrifices, stating that children’s achievements often reflect their parents’ guidance and unwavering support. He urged everyone to respect and value their parents, calling it a fundamental duty.
Both leaders called for greater societal recognition and support for parents, underlining their importance as the cornerstone of strong families and communities.
