PTI demands formation of judicial commission to probe alleged poll rigging

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Qaiser has demanded the formation of a judicial commission on alleged rigging in the recent general elections.

Speaking in the NA, Qaiser said, “We want to create a very huge party and want to invite all those parties who have concerns on these elections, whether they are Balochistan’s political parties or Sindh’s or Punjab or Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s.”

“We will gather everyone together for the Consitutition’s supremacy, for an independent judiciary, for civilian supremacy,” the PTI leader said. “I want to ask Mian sahib (Shehbaz Sharif) if some conscience is awakening within you or not? Are you feeling any shame or not”.

Qaiser then demanded that a judicial commission comprising apex court judges be formed on the alleged rigging in the February 8 polls.
