— Party Core Committee endorses political alliance with MWM, SIC
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Core Committee expressed grave concerns over the serious threats to the life of PTI Founding Chairman Imran Khan especially his wife Bushra Bibi during incarceration.
PTI Core Committee said that Bushra Bibi had been kept at Bani Gala against her will as she had already moved the court to transfer her to the prison.
They expressed apprehension that she was being given substandard, harmful and poisonous food.
The forum demanded that all basic and fundamental rights of all PTI jailed leaders and workers including Imran Khan and his wife should be restored and they should be treated in accordance with the law.
They also strongly denounced the fresh spate of enforced disappearances of PTI successful candidates for National and Provincial Assemblies seats across the country, including Brigadier (Retd) Aslam Ghuman and Ahmar Rashid Bhatti, who were now being coerced to quit PTI.
The participants also demanded that Chief Secretaries and IGs of Punjab and Sindh should be removed forthwith, besides seeking their strict accountability.
PTI Core Committee fully supported and endorsed PTI’s agreement for political cooperation with Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan (MWM) and Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC).
The forum assured the party’s Balochistan chapter of its full support and demanded immediate release of the results of all National and Provincial Assembly seats as per Form 45.
They also demanded establishment of empowered Judicial Commission to investigate the startling revelations made by Commissioner Rawalpindi, who also leveled serious allegations against the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) and the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP).
They made it clear that PTI emerged as the chain of the federation of Pakistan in February 8 elections, and those who pilfered its mandate would become source to weaken the federation and disrupt the much-need national unity.
