NAB changes Bushra’s status to accused in £190 million scam

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has changed the status of former first lady Bushra Bibi from witness to accused in the £190 million scam case.

According to media reports, Bibi was initially called as a witness in the investigation, but NAB has now made her an accused based on new evidence. She is scheduled to be interrogated as an accused on November 13.

If Bibi does not cooperate with the investigation, NAB may seek her arrest from the court.

The sources also said that NAB is likely to file a reference against Bibi in court soon.
