Unwell Pervaiz Elahi again skips graft case hearing

LAHORE: The hearing of a money laundering case against former Punjab chief minister and PTI President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and others in the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Special Central Court could again not be held on Friday as the Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi officials did not produce him in the court due to his sickness.

The jail officials submitted to the court Elahi’s medical certificate instead which said that he was not fit for travelling due to his poor health.

It was further stated in the certificate that the PTI president had a history of different ailments, and his condition could deteriorate in case of travelling.

The FIA has already submitted a challan against Elahi in the case to the court.
