Justice Irfan Saadat appointed acting SHC CJ

KARACHI: Justice Irfan Saadat Khan has been appointed as acting Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court, according to a report on Saturday.

After the approval of President Dr Arif Alvi, the Ministry of Law has issued a notification of the appointment of the senior most judge of the Sindh High Court, Justice Irfan Saadat Khan as acting Chief Justice.

According to the notification, Justice Irfan will continue to perform as acting SHC Chief Justice till the appointment of a permanent Chief Justice.

The incumbent Chief Justice of Sindh High Court, Justice Ahmad Ali M Sheikh will retire from the post on October 2.
