Secretary to PM Dr Touqeer Shah has issued an order for provision of housing facilities to the federal government employees.
The Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) and Pakistan Housing Authority Foundation (PHAF) are mandated to provide housing facilities to the Federal Government employees.
Both the organizations are undertaking projects which are marred with significant delays.

The Committee shall hold its meeting on monthly basis, whereby the secretary of housing and Works as well as both the Director General FGEHA and Managing Director PHAF would brief the updated status of the ongoing projects, being undertaken by both the entities, and seek the Committee’s advice to materialize the entitlements of in-service and retired employees of Federal government.
