PTI says worried about Imran Khan’s safety, health condition

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Core Committee expressed great concern over the authorities concerned non-serious attitude pertaining to PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan’s safety and security and wellbeing, who was kept in a terrible condition in Attock Jail, vowing that no compromise would be made on his health and safety come what may.

The PTI core committee in its meeting voiced strong apprehension the delay in allowing PTI Chairman to provide home-made food and water. They demanded that the former prime minister should be transferred from Attock to Adiala Jail instantly.

The PTI core committee expressed its non-satisfaction over the non-serious behavior of the rulers regarding the health and safety of PTI Chairman despite the fact multiple assassination attempts were made on him.

The participants stated that they could not allow risking the health and safety of Imran Khan in the guise of being imprisoned as a result of a controversial and biased court verdict.

They stated that as per rules and jail manual, PTI Chairman was entitled as a former prime minister to be provided with quality and safe food along with a security guard.

PTI core committee urged the court should take immediate notice of the situation and allow providing him food and water from home, besides issuing order of his immediate transfer of PTI Chairman from Attock to Adiala Jail.
