Corps Commander Peshawar visits Radio Pakistan building

PESHAWAR: Corps Commander Peshawar Lt Gen Sardar Hassan Azhar Hayat Khan Friday visited Radio Pakistan Peshawar building.

He visited different sections of the building. On the occasion, Corps Commander was given a detailed briefing on the attack at Radio Pakistan’s building.

Hundreds of violent protesters ransacked and set on fire the Radio Pakistan building in Peshawar on Wednesday to register their protest following the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. The officials also confirmed that the building of the state media in Peshawar was attacked by violent protesters.

Pakistan Army Personnel are engaged in the maintenance and cleaning of Radio Pakistan Peshawar regarding various works. With the help of the Pakistan Army, Radio Pakistan has already resumed its broadcast a day later, which is a commitment that the Army and the people are together.

Corps Commander Peshawar also issued instructions to speed up the rehabilitation work of the building.
