Imran to lead rallies in 5 major cities as PTI unveils schedule

LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Sunday issued the final schedule of Imran Khan-led party rallies in five major cities of Punjab from Wednesday to Sunday.

According to the details of the rallies’ schedule, the first public meeting will be held in Muridke on Wednesday.

The second public meeting will be held on Thursday at Ghakkar Mandi, the third at Lala Musa on Friday, the fourth at Gujjar Khan on Saturday and the fifth at Attock on Sunday.

The PTI sources said that the party has planned to hold all the rallies in the cities at the Grand Trunk Road (GT Road) and Imran Khan will participate in these public meetings.

As per the decision in Imran Khan’s meeting with the party ticket holders, rallies will be held in central Punjab from Wednesday to Sunday.

After the meeting of the party ticket-holders from Lahore with Imran Khan, PTI leader Dr Yasmin Rashid said the party chairman has given directions to the candidates for their election campaigns.

She said Punjab Assembly elections will be held in any case and hopefully the final date of elections will be announced tomorrow.

Dr Yasmin Rashid, Imtiaz Sheikh, Zubair Khan Niazi, Malik Sarfaraz Khokhar, Ghulam Mohiyuddin, Nadeem Bara, Malik Waqar, Mehr Wajid Azeem, Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed also attended the meeting.
