ISLAMABAD: The chairman of the parliamentary committee on affected employees, Qadir Khan Mandokhail, updated the National Assembly on the progress of the panel.

According to him, more than 80 percent of the work assigned to the committee has been completed.

During his address to the House, he mentioned that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the National Highways Authority (NHA) have taken necessary actions to regularise the services of approximately 2,200 of their employees in line with the committee’s directives.

Additionally, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has regularized the services of about 855 employees based on the Committee’s recommendations.

Despite these positive developments, Mandokhail expressed his regret that some ministries are not cooperating with the committee. He directed their officials to appear before the committee to address the issues and work towards resolving them.
