Two more Pakistani labourers die in Qatar building collapse

DOHA: The number of Pakistani expatriate workers who died when a seven-storey building collapsed in Qatar’s capital Doha, has increased from three to five on Monday.

The bodies of two more Pakistani youths were recovered from under the debris.

One of the deceased Ahsan Riaz belonged to Thaneel Chakwal while the other Adeel was from Athwal.

It merits here to mention that previously three young deceased —Jamal Mazhar, Muhammad Azim, and Zeeshan Hafeez —belonged to Dhab Khushal and Dhab Loharan villages of Chakwal city of Punjab, were killed in the unfortunate incident.

According to local reports, “many Pakistani, Egyptian, and Filipino families” were residing in the collapsed building.
