Maryam Nawaz claims ‘trained terrorists’, not political workers staying in Zaman Park

LAHORE: Chief Organizer of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Maryam Nawaz on Sunday claimed that a group of “trained terrorists and miscreants from proscribed organizations” were residing in Zaman Park Lahore, instead of political workers.

In her tweet on Sunday, she expressed her concerns over the recent violent incidents in Zaman Park and stressed the importance of not ignoring them.

According to her, the perpetrators of these violent acts were highly trained terrorists and miscreants.

Furthermore, she accused Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of supporting banned organizations.

Maryam alleged that Imran Khan has a history of supporting such outfits and that some of the people involved in the recent violent incidents in Zaman Park were recruited from these banned groups.

Emphasizing the crucial role of the state essential to play in ensuring the safety and security of its citizens, Maryam stressed that it was essential for the government to take prompt and effective action before it is too late.

She called for a proactive approach by the state in addressing these issues, rather than waiting for them to escalate further.

Meanwhile, Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday said that PTI is a terrorist organization, so the Supreme Court should take take suo motu notice against this “terrorist party”.

She said while addressing a presser in Lahore. She said that Imran had gone mad with the hunger of power. She wondered at the logic of Imran as he was claiming that he would be got killed if he went to court. Marriyam said that the Ladla (blue eyed) had been provided protection and facilitated. lashed out at PTI Chairman Imran Khan for intimidating judiciary by his ‘terrorism’, making fun of the judicial system.

Marriyum said that the former premier had ruined the economy. She called her ‘lying political terrorist and a foreign agent who has launched an attack on the state’.

She said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf is not a political party, rater ‘a terrorist’ has been imposed on our society. She said the court is summoning him and he is refusing to appear before it. The minister stated that weapons and petrol bombs were found from Imran’s residence during police search operation.
