LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Local Government Mian Mehmoodur Rashid has alleged that Rana Sanaullah is plotter of attack on Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and elected members.
Addressing a protest demonstration at Babu Sabu Interchange on Friday, he said that sparking of protest in every nuke and corner of country after Wazirabad occurrence was clear proof of love of people for PTI chief.
Mian Mehmoodur Rashid said that today Imran Khan had become the leader not only of Pakistan but of the entire Muslim Ummah that is why all major leaders of the world had condemned the assassination attempt on him.
He said that the protest would continue until the accused of the murderous attack on Imran are brought to justice. He said that in Wazirabad, the IG and Punjab Police had shown a failure, so he fully supports Imran Khan’s demand that the IG Punjab should be replaced immediately.
The provincial minister said that it was very surprising to get a verbatim statement from the accused in just half an hour after the killing attempt was made. He said that Imran Khan’s history was that he had never bowed down or stopped, so there is full hope from Allah that Imran Khan will definitely bring real freedom to Pakistanis.
