CDA to acquire 20 additional blue and green line buses

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority has decided to acquire 20 additional blue and green line buses in one week to facilitate residents of Bharaku and koral area.

As per the information, Chairman Capital Development Authority Amer Ali Ahmed visited various routes and bus stops of Islamabad bus services.

The chairman and officers of CDA boarded the orange bus from N5 station to G-13 station. During the visit the chairman appreciated the work of the horticulture department.

At the occasion, special directions were issued to the concerned formations to ensure facilitation of specially-abled passengers at bus stops.

Moreover He also inspected the blue and green line PIMS station. It was informed that Currently 8 each blue as well as green line buses with 5800 passengers and 6000 passengers are providing services on  Bharaku and koral area respectively.

Due to high passenger load on green and blue lines, He issued the instructions to acquire 20 additional buses within one week on a government to government basis. This will create convenience for the public and facilitate residents of Bharaku and koral areas.

The chairman instructed the metro team that this is a public service for residents of the city and must be attended to as a calling and with dedication and lapse will be allowed in this regard.
