PTI spokespersons lying to appease ‘egoistic rejected leader’: Marriyum

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Wednesday said the “imported spokespersons” of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have been lying constantly to appease their “egoistic rejected leader”.

“Imran Khan was ousted from the power in a democratic and constitutional way, but ironically, the entire PTI leadership has been appeared stubborn to accept the ouster of their government,” Marriyum Aurangzeb criticized while reacting to the statement of PTI leader Chaudhry Fawad Hussain.

In a statement, the minister pointed out that Imran would not have been a spokesman like Fawad Chaudhry had he been some wisdom.

“Had Imran followed the Constitution, the courts would not have been opened at midnight,” the minister declared and added that had the PTI chairman possessed any common sense, the party government would not have signed anti-people agreements blindly.

She held responsible Imran for ruining the national economy, unemployment and inflation, which have made life of the common man miserable, saying that all that happened due to the incompetence of Imran.

“Imran understood the word of reason late, that is why he was expelled from Parliament, she remarked and added that if Imran had some intellect, he would not have done corruption through Farah Gogi. “The PTI chief breached trust of the nation by selling gifts of Tosha Khana.|

Marriyum Aurangzeb claimed that Imran took historic debt of Rs 20,000 billion in four years and has been constantly lying to the people in the same manner.

“His (Imran) government was practically over, but he was not ready to accept the reality,” she blasted.

“The PTI chairman should accept the reality that the people have decided to get rid of him due to his inefficiency, incompetence and corruption and should bow before the will of people,” the minister added.
