Couple booked for marrying son impersonating as daughter

SWAT: A case has been registered against a boy and his parents for marrying him impersonating as a girl in Matta Tehsil of Swat District.

Even though Mohammad Izzat Khan was a boy, his parents declared him a girl only on the basis of signs and got him married in December 2017.

Izzat Khan did not establish a relationship until his husband left for Malaysia and then went to the doctors and proved himself to be a boy.

On her husband’s return four years later, a case was registered against Ezzat Khan and his parents in Matta police station.

According to the police, Muhammad Izzat Khan son of Nasray, a resident of Langardheri area of Matta Tehsil, was married on December 7, 2017 to Abdul Rehman, son of Sher Zada, a resident of Koza Durosh Khela by the name of Zalilat Bibi.

Abdul Rehman returned from Malaysia four years later and petitioned the police that during 18 days of marriage, Izzat Khan did not establish relations with him on the pretext of illness.

He said that when he returned to Malaysia, in 2019, Izzat Khan consulted doctors and proved himself to be a boy.

According to medical reports, Izzat Khan has masculine traits by birth.

Despite being a boy, Izzat Khan’s parents Nasray and his mother, despite having knowledge, cheated on him by impersonating him to be a girl, said a police official.

Police registered a case against Muhammad Izzat Khan, his father Nasray and his mother under sections 419-420-466-468-496 in the light of full investigation and medical reports.

A police official said that Izzat Khan and his father Nasray were arrested and sent to District jail Swat while his mother has been granted bail by the court.

Meanwhile , a year ago, a video of Izzat Khan turning from a girl to a boy was viral on social media. The video shows Izzat Khan as saying that he felt pain after a year and a half of marriage and when he went for examination, the doctors tested him and said that he is not a girl but a boy.
