Holiday in Islamabad on March 22, 24 for OIC meeting

ISLAMABAD: The capital administration has declared a local holiday in Islamabad on March 22 and 24 as part of security for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting, a notification issued Monday said.

However, the administration also decided against suspending mobile phone services.

Furthermore, all ministries and divisions within the city will remain closed on the days.

TIMINGS REVISED

Meanwhile, the National Assembly reverted to regular working hours starting at 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, a notification announced.

The notification directed the staff to resume duties accordingly.
