PM Imran Khan likely to visit MQM-P's Bahadurabad office

ISLAMABAD: In wake of the no-trust motion to be moved by the opposition parties, Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to meet meet the leadership of the government’s allied parties during next few weeks.

According to sources, Prime Minister Khan is likely to visit the Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM-P) headquarters in Bahadurabad, Karachi.

The sources said that the PM would be visiting the MQM-P headquarters after conclusion of his Russia tour. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and PTI leaders will also accompany the premier during the visit.

The sources said the MQM-P leadership has been apprised of the planned visit of the premier. The sources said that the prime minister agreed on visiting the MQM-P headquarters in a meeting with federal ministers linked to MQM including Dr Faroogh Naseem and Aminul Haq.

The ministers invited PM Khan to visit their party’s office, the sources said, adding the prime minister is expected to pay the visit in the first week of March.

Matters related to development projects for Karachi and issues facing the port city will come under discussion in the meeting, the sources said, adding that the MQM-P leaders
will also apprise the premier on their demands and reservations.
