Four accused of murder, terrorism and illegal land occupation held on IGP’s directives

ISLAMABAD: On the directives of Inspector General Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas, an extensive crackdown is underway against the land mafia in the limits of Bhara Kahu and Bani Gala police station and at least
four members of a criminal gang involved in forty cases including murder, murder attempt, terrorism and illegally occupying lands of the people has been arrested.

As per details, IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ehsan Younas had issued stern directives regarding launching of a crackdown against land mafia and providing protection to the life and property of the masses.

Acting promptly on the directives, a team led by SP City Kamran Amir Khan and including SDPO Hakim Khan, SHO Bhara Kahu launched a crackdown and arrested three criminals including Raja Muhammad Nazak, Raja Riaz and
Butarab involved in 34 offences including murder, attempt murder and illegal occupation of people lands.

Besides, the police also apprehended head of the land mafia numberdar Sabeel alias Pappu involved in illegal occupation piece of land in the jurisdiction of Banigala. He was reportedly involved in eight other offences.
