Pakistan ranked second in performance in fight against pandemic

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar has said that Pakistan has been ranked number two in The Economists’ world normalcy index.

The Economist has compiled data from January 2021 to January 2022, that measures recovery and opening up of society and economy post Covid-19.

Sharing the screenshot of the report he wrote. “Pakistan has been rated top for measures against Covid in the Economist Normalcy Index. The economist has compiled data of the last one year from January 2021 to January 2022. The index has placed various countries in terms of increase or decrease of measures against Covid 19. Pakistan has been acknowledged as one of top performers in measures against Covid 19.”
