The Overseas Pakistan Welfare Commission held a grand reception at Slough to observe Defence Day.
According to Spokesperson of Prime Minister on Trade & Investment in UK & Europe Sahibzada Jahangir, large number of dignitaries, including Pakistan High Commissioner Moazzam Ali Khan, defence attaché, military attaché, members of House of Lords, members of parliament, lord mayors, counsellors, representatives of all political parties and leaders of the Pakistan Community attended the reception.
Well deserved and glowing tributes were paid to those brave soldiers who laid down their lives defending the motherland so that people can live and have a better future, he added.
