NCOC daily update: 4,062 new cases, 84 deaths from Covid-19

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan reported 4,062 new Covid-19 cases and 84 more deaths over the last 24 hours, the National Command and Operation Centre said on Thursday.

The NCOC, the department leading the campaign against the pandemic, said the number of overall confirmed cases had risen to 1,194,198, including 1,076,112 recoveries.

The number of active cases has dropped to 91,589 who are under treatment across the country, including 5,383 patients under critical conditions.

According to the NCOC, the pandemic killed 84 people on Wednesday, increasing the overall death toll to 26,497.

Sindh is the most affected province of the country in terms of the number of cases with 441,410 infections followed by Punjab which has reported 408,758 cases so far.
