PM approves posting of new chief secretary, Punjab IGP

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved appointments of new chief secretary and Punjab inspector general of the police.
According to informed sources, the prime minister gave approval of the new postings during a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar ended.
According to sources, Kamran Ali Afzal will be the chief secretary while Rao Sardar will be the Punjab IGP.
According to sources, the prime minister approved the appointment of both the officers.
The Establishment Division will issue the notification today after formal approval from the cabinet.
Kamran Ali Afzal is currently the federal secretary industries while Rao Sardar is the Punjab Safe Cities Authority MD.
