PM approves postings of two CWAs, five press attachés abroad

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved the postings of two community welfare attachés, as well as five information attachés to different missions abroad.

Pakistan Today learnt the Ministry of Overseas Pakistan and the Human Resource division has proposed the name of Office Management Group Officer Sohail Babar and Police Service of Pakistan Officer Muhammad Masoom to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Overseas Pakistanis Ministry has concluded the process for the selection of CWAs against the available posts and proposed these officers’ names.

Moreover, these above-mentioned officers will replace those who were recalled after the complaints lodged by the Pakistani community in the kingdom.

It is pertinent to note that the government has sent seven officers to different stations, including Saudi Arabia, in the last month wherein they have completed their mandatory training and will join duties next month.

Moreover, the PM also gave the approval to post five grade 19 and 18 officers of information groups to different stations abroad.

Sarfaraz Hussain has been posted to New York, Hina Malik Barlin and Zafar Yab Khan to Moscow. While Mahroo Arashed has been posted to Ankara, Turkey and Asia Rehman to Hong Kong.
