Senator Waseem, PM Imran discuss legislation, upcoming budget

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the House in the Senate Dr Shahzad Waseem called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday and discussed with him matters pertaining to legislation in the Senate and the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2021-22.

Senator Waseem appreciated the positive trend in economic indicators due to the government’s policies despite the challenge posed by Covid-19.

Minister for Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders Amir Mahmood Kiani and Saifullah Niazi also called on the prime minister in Islamabad and discussed strategy for the upcoming elections in Azad Jammu Kashmir.

Meanwhile, members of National Assembly from Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan also called on Prime Minister Imran and discussed development projects in their respective areas.
