LAHORE: Rizwan Anwar, Special Representative to the Prime Minister Youth Programme, on Wednesday strongly condemned the recent unprovoked and cowardly attack by India, calling it an assault on Pakistan’s sovereignty and a serious violation of international law.
In a detailed statement, Anwar praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their timely and resolute response, mentioning that the enemy was given a powerful and fitting reply. He underscored that Pakistan has once again demonstrated its defensive strength and strategic readiness, leaving no doubt that it remains an unconquerable nation.
He criticized India for launching an attack under the cover of night, describing it as a desperate and cowardly move. However, he added, Pakistan responded decisively in broad daylight, clearly establishing its superior capability and resolve.
Rizwan Anwar warned that any provocation against Pakistan’s defense would prove to be the enemy’s greatest miscalculation. He stressed that the nation’s armed forces are fully prepared to defend every inch of Pakistan’s air, land, and maritime boundaries.
He further asserted that the people of Pakistan stand united with their armed forces, shoulder to shoulder, and are ready to support them on every front. The recent aggression, he said, has made it clear to India that Pakistan is not an easy target.
Condemning the targeting of civilian areas, Anwar said such actions not only violate international humanitarian norms but also reveal the true face of Indian aggression. He remarked that India misjudged Pakistan’s peaceful approach as a sign of weakness and must now face the consequences of its recklessness.
