LAHORE: FG Polo delivered an impressive performance to defeat Team Balochistan 8-5 on the second day of the Diamond Paints Polo Cup 2026, being held under the auspices of Jinnah Polo Fields.
The 10-goal tournament, sponsored by Diamond Paints, is featuring highly competitive and entertaining matches, attracting significant attention from polo enthusiasts and families alike. The match witnessed the presence of prominent personalities, including Diamond Paints CEO Mir Shoaib Ahmed, Director Mir Huzaifa Ahmed, Jinnah Polo Fields Club Secretary Maj (R) Adil Sultan Rao, former polo players, and a large number of spectators and families.
In the only match played on the day, FG Polo demonstrated exceptional teamwork and skill to secure a convincing victory over Team Balochistan after an intense and competitive contest. For FG Polo, Raja Mikayial Sami and Marcos Rivarola delivered outstanding performances, scoring three goals each. Abdul Rehman Monnoo and Sheikh Muhammad Farhad contributed one goal each, further strengthening their team’s position throughout the match.
Team Balochistan showed resilience and determination, with Raja Samiullah putting up a remarkable individual performance by scoring all five goals for his team. Despite his strong effort, Balochistan fell short against FG Polo’s well-coordinated gameplay and attacking strength.
