Indian troops martyr 13 Kashmiris in September

SRINAGAR: Indian troops in their unabated acts of state terrorism martyred thirteen (13) Kashmiris in the last month of September in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to the data issued by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service, today, of those martyred nine (09) Kashmiris were killed in different fake encounters.

During the month, eight youth were critically injured due to use of brute force by Indian paramilitary and police personnel in the territory. At least 157 civilians and political activists were arrested and most of them were booked under black laws, Public Safety Act (PSA) and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and damaged one residential house during 248 cordon and search operations and house raids in the month.

‘Kashmiris rendered unparalleled sacrifices for Kashmir cause’

The All Parties Hurriyat Conference associated parties have said that the freedom-loving people of occupied Kashmir have rendered unparalleled sacrifices for the sacred cause of Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC-associated parties, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim League, Tehree-k-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League and Jammu and Kashmir National Front have stressed for early resolution of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations resolutions.

They said the Kashmiris’ resistance struggle is a legitimate movement aimed at getting rid of India’s illegal and forcible occupation through a peaceful and democratic formula of right to self-determination. The people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir are proud of Hurriyat leaders, activists and youth, who are either in jails or striving on ground for securing a peaceful and sustainable solution to the Kashmir dispute under UN resolutions, they maintained.
