KASUR: In a shocking incident in the Kasur district of Punjab, a man allegedly committed an honour killing by slaughtering his two daughters.
In the incident on Monday in the Haveli Nathowali neighbourhood, the accused, identified as Muhammad Saeed, opened fire on his daughters, resulting in their immediate deaths. The man then fled the crime scene, evading capture.
The local police have taken charge of the case and have moved the bodies to the district hospital for autopsy. A search operation is currently underway to apprehend the perpetrator and bring him to justice.
This heart-wrenching incident follows another tragedy that unfolded earlier in the week in Gujranwala’s Satellite town. In this case, a 12-year-old boy took his mother’s life in the name of honour.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred in a residential neighbourhood when the boy encountered his mother walking down the street. The boy, armed with a gun, fatally shot his mother, instantly killing her.
Another woman, identified as the boy’s aunt, was also injured in the attack. She has been rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Law enforcement swiftly apprehended the boy, who later confessed to the murder. The police have launched a thorough investigation to uncover the motives behind the heinous crime and gather evidence to build a solid case.
