Neymar falls rolling down bed in dream rehearsal of World Cup final

(Disclaimer: this is a work of fiction. Learn to take a joke; you’ll live longer.)

KAZAN – Ahead of the much anticipated quarterfinal clash between Brazil and Belgium, superstar Neymar Jr fell rolling down the bed of his hotel room picturing himself participating in the World Cup final, sources inside the Brazilian forward’s head have told The Dependent.

Witnesses revealed that Neymar was in the middle of his most important and the most critical contribution to the World Cup final, doing which prompted him to start rolling in the bed, eventually culminating in the fall.

“He was holding his leg while he rolled on the bed before he actually fell,” a source confirmed. “And then when he fell down the exact same part of the leg actually hit the corner of the side table, resulting

in actual pain and more crucially causing him to keep rolling in the same position after falling down on the floor.”

Insiders further reveal that at the time of the fall, the fact that what he was dreaming actually did materalise made Neymar believe that he was destined to lift the World Cup.

“What he was feigning in his dream he eventually got after waking up,” said a teammate of Neymar’s. “Hopefully the same would be true of him imagining himself as a footballing great capable of winning major tournaments.”
