SWAT: Dr. Farhad Jalil, a demonstrator at Saidu College of Dentistry, tragically died after receiving an electric shock, officials confirmed.
According to DSP Naeem Hussain of the Saidu Sharif circle, Dr. Jalil had climbed onto the roof of his official quarter for some work when he accidentally came into contact with an 11,000-volt electric line. He fell from the second floor, sustaining severe injuries.
Dr. Jalil was immediately taken to Saidu Group of Teaching Hospitals for treatment and later referred to Peshawar due to the critical nature of his condition. Unfortunately, he passed away en route.
The principal of Saidu College of Dentistry, Dr. Ajmal Khan, said Dr. Jalil, originally from Chitral, is survived by three children. His body was sent to Peshawar in accordance with his family’s wishes.
