Court issues non-bailable arrest warrants of PTI leaders

ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Monday issued non-bailable arrest warrants of Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders Umar Ayub, Zain Qureshi, Zartaj Gul and Ali Bokhari in Sangjani public rally case.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the case. During the proceedings, the judge directed the police to arrest the PTI leaders and produce them before the court.

Advocate Sher Afzal Marwat filed a petition for transfer of the case. Later, the judge issued notices to relevant parties on the petition and directed them to submit their arguments.
The judge adjourned hearing of the case till October 23, 2025. Several cases were registered against the PTI leaders regarding Sangjani public rally.
