PTI leaders barred from meeting Imran Khan at Adiala Jail

RAWALPINDI: Leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were denied permission to meet party chairman Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Thursday. The PTI leaders, who had traveled from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were stopped by Rawalpindi police at the Gorakhpur checkpoint and confined to a nearby hotel.

The visit was scheduled for Thursday, the designated day for Imran Khan’s meetings with close associates. Earlier, PTI’s focal person Intezar Panjutha had submitted a list of six party leaders to the jail superintendent for approval.
