RAWALPINDI: A tragic incident occurred in the Tench Bhatta area of Rawalpindi where a man killed his two children and injured his wife following a heated family argument, according to police reports.
The altercation began when the couple disagreed on resolving a family dispute. The wife’s objection to her husband reconciling with his brothers reportedly provoked him.
In a fit of anger, the man fatally attacked his two children and attempted to strangle his wife, leaving her seriously injured.
Emergency services were promptly called, and the victims were transported to a local hospital for necessary medico-legal formalities. The police have since registered a case and launched an investigation into the horrifying event.
