There seems to be no ease in the sufferings of the people of Wahi Pandhi who have been awaiting relief since the recent floods devastated their area. Currently, there is only one functional hospital and it has the services of just one physician who has been attending to hundreds of patients every day. Wahi Pandhi needs medical camps on a war footing since malaria is spreading quickly. The government should mobilise resources urgently to set up medical camps in the area.
