Brave Pakistanis know how to protect motherland: PHC CJ

SWAT: Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Qaiser Rashid on Saturday said that he was well aware of the deteriorating law and order situation in Swat valley, and had raised the issue with quarters concerned. He said that the law enforcement agencies along with local community had rendered invaluable sacrifices for peace restoration of the area.

Addressing lawyers’ community here at District Bar Association Swat, the PHC Chief Justice said that he had taken sue motto action against encroachment on river bank in Swat valley.” A master plan has been prepared for Swat and Hazara that would help restore the natural landscape and beauty of the river banks”, he said, adding that Pakistan was the motherland of brave and learned people and they knew how to protect the motherland.

The chief justice assured the gathering that providing justice at the doorsteps was the main objective of judiciary and in this regard a net of judicial complexes were being laid in different parts of the province.

Earlier, the chief justice inaugurated the newly-built building child protection court and judicial complex building at Kabal area of Swat. District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Shoaib and President District Bar Association Mushtaq Khan briefed Justice Qaiser Rashid on the problems being faced by the bench and bar in the district.
