Prevalence of bugging devices in PMO, PM House may be a factor: Mazari

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Senior Vice President Dr. Shireen Mazari said that the imported government called off the meeting of National Security Committee (NSC) ostensibly because of cabinet meeting; however the prevalence of bugging devices in PMO and PM House may be also a factor.

Dr. Shireen Mazari in a statement on Tuesday said: “On audio leaks, a JIT is being formed but first the Dawn Leaks JIT report should be made public or this will be another farce.”

She stated that Rana Sana also apparently stated that ISI and IB have completed initial report but the critical question is who did the bugging to begin with? Which Agency or person?

She stated: “National Security meeting called off ostensibly because cabinet meeting taking place. But prevalence of bugging devices in PMO and PM House may be a factor too! 5G warfare is now all over and while our security set up has shouted hoarse about it, they clearly haven’t got a grip on it yet.”

Dr. Mazari raised a question as who would investigate this sensitive question which is the key to everything – who bugged the PMO and PM House? All other questions follow from this core question, she added.

She went on to say that this was because they were obsessively busy targeting PTI Chairman Imran Khan and some of us in PTI plus journos and media with old modes of bugging, psychological oppressions, intimidation and torture.

“Real enemy has been forgotten as has security of PMO and PM House. But we need to know who planted the bugs that led to Audio Leaks,” she added.

Talking about Maryam and Shehbaz’s conversation in leaked video about Sehat Card, she blasted that this is disgusting. Convict-on-bail asking Crime Minister to stop Sehat Card which benefits so many people.

She said that the Crime Minister had already stopped payment for Sehat Card depriving people of ex-FATA of health facilities; however, the KP government has taken the responsibility. Dr. Mazari stated that it clearly showed to undermine PTI and to make the people suffer.
