PM Imran Khan meets COAS, DG ISI

As per the sources, PM Imran Khan met Chief of Army Staff Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa on Tuesday.

The sources further revealed that initially, the meeting was a one-on-one session between the two. However, Director General of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen Faiz Hameed joined in later.

As per the details, the meeting centered on the country’s internal law and order situation.

Earlier, in September, PM Imran Khan and the COAS held a meeting at the Inter Services Intelligence Secretariat in which the PM was briefed about the national security and regional dynamics, while holding a discussion over the ongoing situation in Afghanistan.

The meeting had in attendance other key federal ministers and chief ministers of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well.
