Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah will visit Pakistan from July 28 to 29. The Foreign Office said he will hold talks with Ishaq Dar and meet Pakistan’s leadership.

ISLAMABAD: Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah will pay an official visit to Pakistan from July 28 to 29 for talks aimed at reviewing bilateral ties and discussing regional and international issues, the Foreign Office said on Monday.
The visit is taking place at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. During the two-day trip, Sheikh Jarrah is scheduled to hold talks with Dar as both sides examine the full scope of Pakistan-Kuwait relations and exchange views on developments of mutual interest.
The Foreign Office said Kuwait’s top diplomat is also expected to call on Pakistan’s leadership during the visit. It described the trip as a reflection of the two countries’ shared intent to deepen their longstanding partnership and widen cooperation for the benefit of both sides.
The announcement follows a telephone conversation between Dar and Sheikh Jarrah on July 18, during which the Kuwaiti foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s “constructive and mediatory role in promoting dialogue and regional stability”.
