RAWALPINDI: Police have registered cases after three minors were allegedly sexually assaulted in separate incidents in Rawalpindi, including two girls whose cases surfaced after they were found to be pregnant.

According to the reported details, a 13-year-old girl with hearing and speech impairments was allegedly assaulted by a neighbour in the Naseerabad police area. Her father told police that he works as a labourer and that the family took the child to a doctor after she fell ill. The doctor informed them that she was pregnant. Her mother then questioned her through gestures, after which the girl identified a neighbourhood resident, Asad, as the alleged attacker. Police registered a case after her medical examination was conducted.

In another case, a 15-year-old domestic worker was allegedly assaulted by a co-worker in the Rawat police jurisdiction. The case came to light after the girl was also found to be pregnant.

A third incident was reported in Fauji Colony within the Pirwadhai police limits, where a 12-year-old boy was allegedly abducted at knifepoint by an unidentified motorcyclist and sexually assaulted. The boy later informed his father about the incident, and his father told police about what the child had said when he returned home from work.
